
𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐲
The idea of running a half marathon without stopping seemed absolutely impossible, but I did it and it was the best thing I could have ever have done for myself. Going from not being able to run a mile to running 13.1 was so tough but so rewarding. This is what helped me become a some-what runner girl 🙂
- Find a running plan and stick to it, I used this one below but there is hundreds of different ones to follow. I chose this one specifically because I knew I would struggle running every single day, so this one switches between running and other forms of exercise

2. Sign up for the race! Find a race that matches to your training and sign up as soon as possible. Giving yourself the extra motivation knowing you already have a spot to run your first half marathon! ( I promise you will not be the only one running who is new at it)
3. Treat yourselfffffff. Get some good running shoes, maybe a new running outfit even. You deserve it all. A good running belt and headphones are a must. I loved these energy gels so much, seriously was life changing after about half way through the long runs.

4. Take care of your body at all times. Your health is the most important thing, stay hydrated and eat! It is possible and this is your sign to go for it! You are so much stronger and capable than you think, I believe in you 🙂
